R R Ryan
R R Ryan was one of the most mysterious writers of 1930's horror fiction. It was always assumed that R R Ryan was a woman hiding her identity under the R R Ryan pseudonym and having her work submitted by a somewhat anonymous male to the publisher. But, it had been thought, that R R Ryan was a pseudonym of Evelyn Bradley (1882–1950)- a male writer. New information has confirmed through uncovered contracts with the publisher that Evelyn Bradley is NOT R R Ryan but is Rex Ryan a “retired theatrical manager and author”. I personally don't think so. I believe his wife Anne is the real R R Ryan. Just read Death of a Sadist.
