SOLD FRANKENSTEIN by MARY SHELLEY - ILLUSTRATED by NINO CARBE 1932, Very rare in a very good dust jacket with only some minor chipping to the upper and lower spine. The dustjacket is wrapped in a protective sleeve to preserve it. Book is in very good, almost fine, condition. Spine is tight with only some minor fading and there is an inscription on inside cover.

$3000 or Trade Creature from the Black Lagoon Vargo Stratten 1st Edition Photoplay in Original Dust Jacket. Published 1954 by Dragon. The Book Condition is Good while the Dust Jacket Condition is only Good with old tape repairs and some chipping.

$800 TEN MINUTE STORIES by ALGERNON BLACKWOOD 1914. Signed by Blackwood to his friend Hiliare Belloc. The cloth boards are slightly soiled while the spine has tanned. There is heavy glue staining on the inside boards while the interior of the book is very good.

$450 or Trade NIGHTSEED by H.A. MANHOOD Jonathan Cape 1928 1st Edition. The dust jacket is in very good condition with slight bumping to the corners and some soiling. The cloth seems slightly faded and toned around the edges but otherwise a very nice copy.

$100 or Trade DOCTORS WEAR SCARLET by SIMON RAVEN. 1st Edition. The dust jacket is in excellent condition with slight wear to the edges. The book is in excellent condition.

$100.00 or Trade THE JUGGLER and the SOUL by HELEN MATHERS. 1897 Second Edition. The book is in good condition with some fading to the boards, especially the spine. The is slight foxing throught and some seperation of the boards.

$450 or Trade GHOST STORIES by MICHAEL ARLEN 1927 W. Collins. 1st Edition. The book is in very good condition but the dust jacket is heavily chipped across the top and bottom of the front and missing 1" from the top and bottom of the spine. The rear of the dj is partially missing 1 1/2" across the top and 1/2" across the bottom. Very rare to find this book with a dust jacket at all.

SOLD SIGNED LIMITED EDITION CABAL by CLIVE BARKER. The book is in excellent condition.

There is a small paper label adheared under the title on the spine. Internally, the book is in very good condition with foxing throughout.

$500 or Trade VEILS of FEAR by VIVIAN MEIK. Part of the the Creeps Series. 1st Edition 1934. The dust jacket is in very good condition with slight lose to upper and lower spine and corners. Internally, the book is in very good condition with slight toning to page edges.

SOLD THE SHADOW on the HOUSE by MARK HANSOM 1935 William Godwin The book is lacking the full dust jacket but the front and rear flaps are pasted to the inside boards. The is an old owner's signature on the ffep and a lending library stamp on pages 9 and 254.

$500 or Trade A VOICE from the DARK by EDEN PHILLPOTTS 1925 White House. This book was either published simultaneously with the MacMillan edition or by White House for MacMillan? The book is in very good condition with a 1" chip on the lower spine of the duct jacket.

$400 or Trade The MYSTERY WOMAN by MRS. CAMPBELL PRAED 1913 1st Edition.
"On a personal level she (Nancy Harward) and Praed developed a closer relationship than either had known previously. Their relationship was deeply satisfying--transcending ordinary human bonds. For Praed it represented the coming together of her spiritual searching with her quest for personal and psychic fulfilment. Harward was her "twin soul." Praed professed to know nothing of the physical aspects of lesbian relationships, but undoubtedly theirs was an all-consuming emotional relationship. Harward's role as Praed's helper extended to providing Praed with material she had written, which Praed then rewrote and which was published under her name. The most obvious example was Praed's book The Mystery Woman (1913), which was based on "The Oracle," a novel written by Harward and submitted unsuccessfully to publishers. An infinitely more experienced writer, Praed made improvements to the story, and her name and reputation eased its way into print. The book is in very good condition with some scuffing to boards slight foxing internally and some pencil writing on ffep. Without dust jacket.

The book has been rebound with brown Leather spine and corners and marbled boards, end papers, a feps. Internally, there a library stamp on the title page. There are several close tears, 2 ink marks, a few missing corners, dog-eared corners, foxing, and finger smudges throughout- none affecting the text.

$2000 or Trade THE WITCHCRAFT READER by PETER HAINING (editor). Signed by Richard Matheson, Robert Block, A.E van Vogt, and Ray Bradbury. The book is in excellent condition.

$3250 or Trade LONDON AFTER MIDNIGHT by MARIE COLLIDGE-RASK. 1st Edition Photoplay in Original Dust Jacket. Published 1928 by Grosset & Dunlap. The Book Condition is Very Good while the original DJ has been expertly restored.

$250 or TRADE THE HORROR OMNIBUS 1st Edition 1939 Original DJ. The dust jacket has very minor chipping along the top, bottom, and edges. These is old tape reinforcement on the inside of DJ and upper corner in front. Internally, the book is in very good condition.

$150.00 or Trade THE DEVIL'S MANSION by REX JARDIN 2st edition 1931. The dust jacket has some fading and chips to the upper front, spine, and rear corners. Internally, there is an inscription of the ffep and slight foxing to the edges.

$600.00 or Trade THE NIGHT WIND HOWLS by FREDERICK COWLES 1st edition 1938. The dust jacket is FACSIMILE. The boards have some fading with a faded spine. Internally, the book is in very good condition with very slight foxing.

SOLD Nightmare Farm Jack Mann 1st Edition 1937. The book is in very good condition with the usual age wear.

$450.00 or Trade THE MOONSTONE by WILKIE COLLINS 1st edition 1868 Harper. The boards are in good condition with some edge wear to the cloth, bumped corners, and a few missing chips to the spine. There is an old bookstore sticker on the inside board and and owners inscription in pencil on the title page. These is some foxing and staining to the pages. One of the first, if not the first, detective "Who Done It" mysteries.

$100.00 or Trade A TASTE for HONEY by H.F. HEARD 2st edition 1941 Vanguard Press. The dust jacket is in very good condition with old cellophane tape on the corners and upper and lower spine. The dust jack is priced at $200. Internally, the is a clean with only minor tanning.

$8000 or Trade King Kong Edgar Wallace 1932. 1st Edition Photoplay in Original Dust Jacket. The original DJ has been expertly restored. The book is in very good condition with some fading to the boards.

$700.00 or Trade THE SUBJUGATED BEAST by R.R. RYAN 1st edition 1939 Herbert Jenkins. The book is in good condition with what appears to be water spotting to the boards- but the books does not have any water damage. Comes with a FACSIMILE dust jacket.

SOLD ALAS, BABYLON by PAT FRANK 1st edition 1959 Lippincott. The dust jacket is in excellent condition with only very slight creasing to the upper spine. The book is in excellent condition.

Internally, there is an inscription on the inside front board, otherwise the book is in very good condition with some foxing and toning throughout. In the last 25 years I have only seen this title come up for sale only 3 or 4 times.

$1200 or Trade THE THREE FREAKS (retitled reprint of THE UNHOLY THREE) by TOD ROBBINS. Part of the Creeps Series. 1st Edition 1935. The dust jacket is a FACSIMILE. The boards are slightly faded and worn on the edges with a library mark on the spine. Internally, there is an ex libris sticker to the inside board and a fade stamp to the ffep, otherwise the book is in very good condition with some foxing and toning throughout. Rarer than The Devil of the Depths, in the last 25 years, I have only seen this title come up for sale only 3 times.

There is slight rubs to the face around the word 'LIFE'in the title. Internally, the boards are very good with slight fading to the spine, otherwise the book is in very good condition.

Very Good in an unclipped dust jacket with a small chip to upper spine, slight rubbing to the dust jacket surface, light edge wear to the corners. Internally, the book is Very Good with the usual toning to pages.
